It’s not strange to see Ex-BSB machinery popping up for sale on well-known auction sites after the seasons racing has finished. Teams need to shift the bikes on, to recoup some money towards next years build. It is rare however to see the championship-winning bike, full factory bike for sale. Until now. Scott Reddings championship-winning V4R has cropped up for sale.
That is exactly what has happened with Scott Redding’s 2019 British Superbike winning machine which has cropped up for sale on Facebook of all places.
The bike was purchased directly from Paul Bird motorsport and is one of only two PBM V4Rs machines sold privately. PBM spent an estimated £185,000 on top of the £75,000 V4Rs list price. As we all know the V4R dominated the BSB in 2019, with Scott winning the title and countless wins and pole positions.
The bike itself is listed for sale at a bargain price of $150,000 or £112k. It comes with a brand new pair of Pirelli Superbike SC2 slicks and the actual tyres that Scott completed the final race of the championship on.
