Valentino Rossi signs with Petronas Sepang Racing for 2021

The speculation has finally been confirmed that for the 2021 season Valentino Rossi will race in a full factory Yamaha supported Moto GP bike with the Malaysian Petronas Sepang racing team. Joining the team, Vale will teammate VR46 Acadamy rider Franco Morbidelli.

The deal comes days after it was announced Valentino and his long time pit crew would split up after the move to SRT.

How does the Yamaha R1 hold up after 10k miles?

The move sees Rossi and Fabio Quartararo switch teams, for the 2021 racing season. After taking the first half of the season to decide his position, Rossi still sees himself a contender after a strong showing despite the Coronavirus pandemic hit calendar.

For weeks Rossi had been saying he is 99% ready to sign, for the SRT team, with SRT team principle Razlan Razali posting pictures at the VR46 ranch in Tavullia, obviously not visiting for a holiday.

After a new helmet for 2020?

The singed deal gives a one-year extension granting Rossi his 26th Moto GP season, which is great news for everybody.
