It’s common to see individual rare bikes popping up for sale. We saw a Desmo for sale just before Christmas on the Ultimate Christmas gift guide, but it is uncommon to see a full collection for sale. Listed up on eBay has been a collection of four Ducati bikes including a Desmo, 1299 Superleggera, and 1199 Superleggera and a V4R. All of the bikes are low milage so a genuine collector’s item, however, it is also a shame that they haven’t been used or enjoyed!
Pirelli announces brand new Diablo Rosso 4 tyre!
Firstly is a 2009 Ducati Desmosedici, numbered 1281 out of a limited run of 1500. It is finished in the Ducati red and white in the style of the Moto GP team. The seller says it comes with all of the keys, stands and kit and only has 800 miles on the clock.
Up next is a 2018 Ducati 1299 Superleggera, with 100 miles on the clock. Shame. Arguably the best L-Twin Panigale, before the new V4 Panigale set the standard for Ducati’s new engine.
Thirdly, is the 1199 Superleggera from 2014. Again, low milage at only 1200 miles and the seller claims the bike was owned by a member of the British Royal family.
Last up is a 2020 70 plate Ducati V4R. Fresh PDI completed, and the engine hasn’t been started. Again, what a shame.
The complete collection is listed for sale at £195,000, although the collection has the possibility to be sold individually. See the eBay advert here.
